Students Invited to Participate in Chess Tournament at Canterbury

All CH-UH students in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to register for the Elementary Chess Championship. The tournament will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Friday, December 16, in the Canterbury Elementary School Gym. Adults may register their children in advance or from 3:20 – 3:55 p.m. the day of the tournament. Advance registration costs $12. Day of registration costs $15.
Students may play in the kindergarten-through-second-grade or third-through-fifth-grade division. Trophies will be awarded to the top five students per division.
CH-UH will provide chess sets, pizza, and drinks to all participants. Students may expect to play at least four games.
Adults must supervise their children during the tournament.
