Career and Technical Education 

Career and Technical Education is an exciting option that offers both a strong academic and technical education. The courses are offered through the Tri-Heights Career Prep Consortium - schools in the collaboration include Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, and Warrensville Heights high schools. Career and Technical Education courses provide training in a designated skill, regular academic classes and many include college credit or a certification that can lead to employment.

The Career and Technical Education program is open to 11th and 12th grade students: in all small schools at Cleveland Heights High School, Shaker Heights High School, and Warrensville Heights High School.   An application is required for all Career and Technical Education Programs.

 Audio Engineering is a skilled trade that deals with the use of equipment for the recording, mixing and reproduction of sounds. Learn More >>

Automotive Collision Technology - an A.S.E certified program focusing on developing the concepts and skills necessary in repairing and refinishing vehicles damaged as a result of collision. Learn More >>

Automotive Technology - an A.S.E certified program devoted to developing entry-level auto mechanic skills in maintenance and repair of both domestic and foreign automobiles. Learn More >>

Business Management Technology - prepares students for various occupations in an office setting. In this class, emphasis is placed on business skills, office procedures and computer skills needed to work in today's highly technical office environment. Learn More >>

Clinical Health Careers - introduces students to a variety of health related occupations. Students complete the Ohio Nurse Aide Training Program and are eligible to become State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs). Learn More >>

Computer Networking Technology - Students design and maintain local area networks and wide area networks. Instruction is project-based. Students are eligible to take the Cisco Certified Networking Associate Exam to receive CCNA certification. Learn More >>

Cosmetology - prepares students to take the Ohio State Board Exam and become licensed cosmetologists. Learn More >>
