Kindernet

Welcome prospective families!

As representatives of Kindernet, we are pleased that you are considering sending your children to the fine schools in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District. Kindernet is a volunteer-based, District-run program with parent representatives from each elementary school. We are here to provide:

  • Tours of the buildings
  • Programs for preschoolers (playdates, both in the school buildings and in your neighborhood)
  • Opportunities to see the schools in action
  • Invitations to special school events
  • Kindergarten information
  • Connections with other families in your neighborhood

If you are the parent of a pre-schooler currently residing in the CH-UH District and would like to receive Kindernet information about events at your local school, please contact the CH-UH Early Childhood Department at 216 371-7356 or email Beth Holbein at B_Holbein@chuh.org . She will connect you with the Kindernet representative from your assigned school building.

Please note that receiving Kindernet information or participating in Kindernet-sponsored events does not mean that you have committed to enrolling your child in the District. This is an excellent early opportunity for you to learn more about our schools as you begin the decision about where to educate your child.

Kindernet is a joint project of the PTA, CH-UH Early Childhood Department, the Cities of Cleveland Heights and University Heights, the CH-UH Public Library and Family Connections of Northeast Ohio (formerly Heights Parent Center).
