Cleveland Heights - University Heights City School District

The Inlet Dance Theater came to Fairfax to put on a fantastic show on January 17, 2012. The company did many energetic and innovative dances. One innovation was the mixed parings, where in a departure from the traditional male/female lifts the dancers lifted whomever they were partnered with: Male/female, male/male, female/male! One of the dancers, Joshua Brown, runs the after school dance program at Fairfax, the students in the class know the effort that dancers put forth. It was wonderful that the rest of the school could experience the dancers in this assembly as well. The dancers remained at Fairfax for the day and ran warm-ups and stretching for the PE classes. Joshua returned the next day to work with the whole 4^th grade. It is great to see the arts continuing to thrive at Fairfax.
