GEARITY WALK A-THON - A GREAT SUCCESS!
A great big "thank you" to Dr. Connor-Kuntz, Gearity physical education teacher, PTA, students, and parent volunteers who helped during the Walk-A-Thon. $1500.00 was raised with the help from families who donated and solicited donations. This fundraiser will help support field trips, teacher mini-grants, PTA afterschool enrichment, and other educational activities.
The top fundraising winners are: Mackenzie Hollis and Maple Buescher, both third graders. They will share as being "Mayor for a Day" of University Heights with Mayor Infeld.
Ryann Fishel and Laurel Buescher, both second place fundraiser winners and kindergarteners, will experience being "Principal for a Day at Gearity" with Mrs. Miller.
