Gearity Winters Arts Festival

On Thursday, December 15, our Gearity community was treated to a winter song festival. Gearity kindergarteners, first and second graders filled our building with beautiful songs. Winter Holiday Celebration was the theme for the morning and everyone was mesmerized by the children’s voices. Mrs. Robin Grant-Hughes, our music teacher, directed the program including choreography, student speakers and soloists.
The second grade program was titled, "A Winter Fantasy" with songs, Seasons Come, Seasons Go; Winter is Our Favorite Time of Year, and Rock and Roll Snowman. Our first graders sang Mittens and Gloves, My Dreidel, and O, Come Little Children. Kindergarten songs included In the Snow, Carol, Children, Carol, and Winter Makes Me Sing. We wish to thank the entire Gearity Professional Development School students and parents for making this a wonderful event with with music, fun, laughter and togetherness. Our dedicated PTA provided holiday cookies for our students to enjoy during their lunch period.
