Holiday Caroling sponsored by Gearity PTA

On Sunday evening, December 18, Gearity parents and students went caroling in our University Heights neighborhood. Residents living on Groveland Road were treated to jingle bells and guitar playing in addition to our student’s exuberant voices. Parents Michael and Kari Buescher and Amy and Bill Mangano had the idea to support our Gearity goal of building and strengthening community by caroling with our students. It was so exciting to greet residents with holiday songs and watch the glee in our students’ eyes. Our neighbors danced and sang at their doors with us and we truly came together as a community. Thanks to our generous PTA for providing a pizza dinner with hot cocoa to warm up after the time spent outside! We hope to make this an annual event!
