Cleveland Heights - University Heights City School District

Gearity classrooms were filled with hands-on-learning as twenty different professionals shared their occupations with students and teachers.  Students learned about a variety of professions including engineering, medicine, police enforcement, firefighting, dance, business management, cosmetology, television production, cooking, and construction. Our students asked meaningful questions and learned about different educational paths toward career development.  Students were excited about knowing how college programs support so many different professional occupations.  The majority of our guest speakers for Career Day were Gearity parents.  We are fortunate to have so many parents share their work and school experiences with us and help guide our students’ futures.
