January 23
Students receive class recommendation or walk through form and take form to each subject area teacher who will write the name of the suggested course for next year. Students take a copy of the form home to show their parents/guardians. Parents can call Small School counselor with input.

January 28-29
Students receive Course Guide Book (with a yellow cover)
that describes all courses available in the ‘08-‘09 school year. Students will also receive a list of electives available. Use this book to choose specific classes for next year.

January 28 - February 29
School counselors meet with student to plan next year’s courses and to discuss each student’s post-high school plans.

By February 29
After the counselor/student meeting, counselors will give students a list of classes the student has requested for the ‘08-‘09 school year. Parents can call counselor with input about classes.

April 1
List of courses requested by students is mailed home (same list as above).

End of May
Students receive schedule of classes for ‘08-‘09 school year.
