Heights Youth Club Does Homework 1st
October 18, 2011
Cleveland Heights, OH

The Heights Youth Club, located at 2065 Lee Road across from the high school, is actively engaged in supporting academic success for children between the ages of 6 and 18.
The Club has an ongoing afterschool homework program which allows all members to complete homework and receive assistance when needed. The Homework 1st program runs Monday through Friday after school until 4:30 p.m. Two permanent staff persons, supported by volunteers, facilitate the program.
And in response to a parent inquiry, Club Director Roscoe Morgan collaborated with graduate students from all over the country who are volunteering locally for one year and with the Cleveland Heights Church to develop an Organizational Skills for Success program for teen members. This new program is on Wednesdays at 4 p.m.
Members can also participate in the Teen Test Prep class run by Case Western Reserve University graduate students every Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m.
Heights Youth Club membership is required for participation in all of these programs. Interested parties need to complete an application and submit the $10 annual membership fee.
