No track practice today, we will see you tomorrow. The following ladies need to turn in their track uniforms Syeann Turner and Monae Jackson.

You should come out to see the guys of tennis on our next home match. These awesome players keep improving with their unique humor and style of playing in each match. Graham Ball and Demonte Brooks gets the “Energizer Bunny Award” for playing one of the longest matches of the evening against University. Slugging back and forth, Demonte and Graham figured out his opponent’s weakness and took advantage of this. However, they lost after 1 hour and 6 minutes of play.

Orion Brock knows that being patient wins the game. Playing first singles, Orion’s mantra was “Just get the ball over”. After going 8 games to 8 games Orion won the tie breaker 7 to 4.

Eli Snow wanted that ice cream pretty bad. He played second singles. Making sure his serves were in, Eli hustled for every shot and made sure he returned the ball. Good job Eli winning those games.

Griffin Shutt is so flexible. With his ever improving serves and backhands. Grif gave his University guy a run for the money. Good job winning games Gif.

Andrew Schullenberg and Kirland Pearce wanted to try their hand as a doubles team. Andrew is really food at thinking about the game and using tennis strategies. Kirkland is a really good doubles partner by calling shots and staying in his position. Great job guys. We had fun. We have practice today after school. Ice-cream.

Baseball Announcements: Your Roxboro Baseball team increased their winning streak to 5 games in a row. They defeated Monticello 13-2. The following players had stand out performances. Bobby Edwards: pitched a complete game earning 12 strike outs. Steven Lang: had a good day at the plate earning a double and a triple. Adam Rosenbaum earned a double and a home run. Great game: practice after school.
