Heights Family Resource Center

The Heights Family Resource Center is more than a place where families can stop in to pick up needed household items, toiletries, shoes, clothing or school supplies. It is also a central location for learning and connecting.
The HFRC, which opened in 2024 and is located in the Delisle Options Center, serves as a central hub for connecting CH-UH families to essential resources and support. Along with offering workshops, information, and education that build capacity and connect the community, the HFRC is available to help families with the following:
  • Shelf-stable food items
  • Hygiene and household essentials
  • Clothing
  • School supplies
  • Connection to local resources (e.g. legal, financial, food, housing)

The Center’s work is guided by the Five Protective Factors of the Strengthening Families Approach: parental resilience, social connections, concrete support in times of need, knowledge of parenting and child development, and social and emotional competence of children.

We’re happy that many of you were able to join us for the Community Give-Back event at the Heights Family Resource Center. We also understand that some families who may need food for the holidays were not able to attend.

To make sure everyone has what they need, the Heights Family Resource Center will be open for special holiday food shopping hours from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on the following dates—no appointment needed:

  • Tuesday, December 16
  • Friday, December 19

A variety of nonperishable food items such as pasta, tuna, vegetables, soups, and fruits will be available.

If you are in need of household supplies, baby items, personal care products, or clothing, please contact us to make an appointment so we can take the time to assist you.

Call the Heights Family Resource Center at 216-320-6333 or email hfrc@chuh.org.
