Board Approves Resolution to Proceed to Ballot

On August 3 during its regular meeting, the CH-UH Board of Education approved a resolution to proceed to the ballot with a proposed 6.5-mill additional operating levy. At the direction of the Board, the District Treasurer filed the necessary paperwork with the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections and the levy is now slated to be on the November 2026 ballot.
The 6.5-mill levy would cost a homeowner approximately $227.50 a year, or $19 a month, per $100,000 in appraised property value.
