At the monthly regular Board of Education meeting on March 3, Heights High School sophomore Taylor Nathan delivered the Superintendent’s Student Cadre Report, and the Board approved the calendar for the 2026-2027 school year.

Heights High School sophomore Taylor Nathan delivered the Superintendent’s Student Cadre Report, sharing updates on Heights High news and personal reflections on the school district’s theme this year, Heights United.

The Board heard the final reading of the Proposed 2026-2027 CH-UH District Calendar. The Board approved the calendar as proposed. View the calendar here.

The Board heard the second reading of two policies related to entrance age requirements, Policy 5112 and Policy 5115. Specifically, the policies would allow for the District to continue enrolling students who are not yet 5 years old by the first day of school, in accordance with new state law and in alignment with sound educational practices. A third and final reading of the policies will be held later this month.
