CH-UH Recognizes Tiger Team Members of the Month for May
The theme across the CH-UH School District this year is Heights United. In that spirit, each month CH-UH is recognizing employees who go above and beyond to inspire unity and create a culture of excellence in our district.
For May, CH-UH is honoring 11 people as the “Tiger Team Members of the Month”. Each honoree was nominated by a colleague--and in some instances multiple colleagues--and the nominees were then voted upon by a staff committee.
The honorees will be recognized by the Board of Education at the June 2 meeting.
Baumgardner: Arielle Johnson - Security Monitor
Ms. Johnson has truly stepped up to provide support while our other security officers have been out. She has remained positive and continues to work diligently to help ensure our school remains safe and secure. Her dedication and willingness to support the school community are greatly appreciated.

Karen brings a wealth of institutional knowledge to our district, paired with deep expertise in literacy and instruction. She is a highly valued colleague who is always willing to serve as a thought partner and offer a different perspective. What I appreciate most about Karen is her deliberate approach to challenges; she has an incredible ability to pause and thoroughly analyze a situation before moving forward. Karen's thoughtfulness and dedication to excellence will be greatly missed in our district as she prepares for her retirement.
Boulevard: Tamelita Williams-Harris - Kindergarten Paraprofessional
Ms. Harris is one of the most hardworking people that I have ever met. She is dependable, caring, kind and always eager to lend a hand. She constantly makes my life easier and I am so thankful to get to work alongside her. She deserves so much recognition for her ability to always go above and beyond the call of duty.
Canterbury: Marisa Warrix - Lunch Non-Paraprofessional
Ms. Warrix is a very caring person. She not only cares for the children in her role, but whatever her hands find to do, she does it well. She also has a gift of giving, expecting nothing in return.

He wears so many hats with grace and truly embodies what it means to support and uplift the entire Noble community.
Oxford: Tyeasha Doss - First Grade Teacher
Ms. Doss is the best partner teacher ever! She is always planning fun and creative activities for our students that keep learning exciting and engaging. One example is the first grade ABC Countdown, where students celebrate the last 26 days of school with a special activity for each letter of the alphabet. Her positivity, creativity, and dedication make such a difference for both students and staff. We are so lucky to have her on our Tiger Team!

Children's Ink is 28-year tradition at Roxboro Elementary. Mrs. Thomas puts in tireless effort and hours into making this special event a success. She reaches out to community members, provides presents for students and guest readers, invites families, and makes this day exceptionally special. She even honored this years retirees with a song! Thank you, Mrs. Thomas!
