District Seeks Members For Lay Finance Committee

As part of its commitment to financial transparency and community engagement, the CH-UH City School District is currently seeking dedicated residents to join the Lay Finance Committee (LFC).
 
The LFC is a standing committee that serves as a vital bridge between the District and the community. Key responsibilities include:
  • Acting as the designated audit committee to receive the annual financial audit report from the Auditor of State.
  • Reviewing the District’s five-year forecast for reasonableness.
  • Making recommendations regarding the necessity and timing of operating levies.
  • Collaborating with the Lay Facilities and Advocacy Committees on capital improvements and state funding matters.
     
Membership Requirements
Applicants must:
  • Be current residents of the CH-UH City School District.
  • Possess a professional background in finance, accounting, banking, or a related field.
  • Be available for quarterly meetings, which are open to the public.
