District Seeks Members For Lay Finance Committee

As part of its commitment to financial transparency and community engagement, the CH-UH City School District is currently seeking dedicated residents to join the Lay Finance Committee (LFC).
The LFC is a standing committee that serves as a vital bridge between the District and the community. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the designated audit committee to receive the annual financial audit report from the Auditor of State.

Reviewing the District’s five-year forecast for reasonableness.

Making recommendations regarding the necessity and timing of operating levies.

Collaborating with the Lay Facilities and Advocacy Committees on capital improvements and state funding matters.
Membership Requirements
Applicants must:

Be current residents of the CH-UH City School District.

Possess a professional background in finance, accounting, banking, or a related field.

Be available for quarterly meetings, which are open to the public.
