Aug. 21, 2019 -- The District is celebrating the reopening of Monticello and Roxboro middle schools with community open houses. Monticello Middle School will be open on Sunday, Sept. 15, and Roxboro Middle School will welcome visitors on Sunday, Sept. 22, both from 1 to 4 p.m.

Aug. 21, 2019 (Cleveland.com) -- The big day finally arrived for Roxboro and Monticello middle schools as the ribbons were cut, officially re-opening the historic buildings after each underwent extensive renovations.

July 6, 2019 -- The middle school renovations that will be unveiled in August will be primarily noticeable from the interior of the buildings. But Roxboro’s 6th graders have been working hard to create a welcoming and colorful environment for the exterior of their building as well.

April 24, 2019 -- CH-UH Board of Education members, city leaders from Cleveland Heights, University Heights, and South Euclid, and the Bond Accountability Commission toured Monticello and Roxboro middle schools last week to see the progress made on the renovations to each building.

Oct. 15, 2018 -- The Bond Accountability Commission (BAC) took a site visit to Monticello Middle School earlier this month to see first-hand the progress made on the renovations to the building. Specifically, the BAC reviewed work on two aspects of the renovation. First, the group inspected the condition of the flooring on the third level of the building. During demolition, the construction crew discovered that the flooring was in worse shape than originally expected.
