The Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) tasked with guiding a plan for the District’s next five years, will meet Wednesday, May 6, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Board of Education.
The Committee last met in a six-hour joint session with the Board on April 14 at the Delisle Options Center. The strategy session was facilitated by consultant Amy Main Morgenstern of Main Stream Enterprises, Inc. The meeting yielded engaged discussion about hard data, stakeholder input collected from small group discussions and a large community meeting, in addition to input from online surveys.
SPC Chair Saroya Tabor says the purpose of the May 6 meeting is to: (1) discuss, modify and further develop an initial Aspirations draft for purposes of recommending it to the Board on May 19, and (2) discuss next steps and how the implementation section of the plan will be developed.
Staff and community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
