Letter #2 to Class of 2020

Class of 2020

Apr. 3, 2020 -- A message from the Administrative Team and Guidance Counselors to the Class of 2020:

We still hope to schedule important milestones for you this year. The stay at home order is in place until May 1, 2020 and we don’t yet know if schools will be open after May 1.

The following is what we can share at this time:

- Senior Projects are canceled. Even if schools open after May 1, there will not be enough time to coordinate internships to make the experiences meaningful.

- We have rescheduled the Prom for Friday, July 24 at Landerhaven. Of course, this is dependent upon the Governor’s decision regarding the stay at home order and social distancing.

-All seniors who have completed their graduation requirements will receive a diploma. We hope that we can have a ceremony but the time and place can’t be finalized until we have more guidance from the state.

-If you ordered a senior package, you will receive your yearbook and senior mementos. We will let you know if they will be mailed or if we will plan a pick-up date. If possible, the picnic will be rescheduled.

- This is the message from our Jostens representative, Mr. Kraft: As soon as the state allows us to, Jostens will set a date to get announcements and caps and gowns delivered. Once a date is set, the information will be emailed to everyone.

We recognize that this is a difficult time for all of us. We remain committed to have as many of the celebrations that you earned and deserve in place.

Most importantly, PLEASE log into your Google classroom accounts to complete your assignments and reach out to your teachers for support.

We want you to pass all of your classes!

YOU MATTER and we will get through this….
Stay focused to finish strong.
We are TIGER NATION STRONG!
