Aug. 4, 2020 -- Since May 28th, 2020,  the Farmers to Families program has distributed boxes of fresh produce to residents of CH-UH and neighboring communities on almost every Thursday until the final distribution day, July 30, 2020. This initiative was started by Ted Copeland of Perfect Pact who worked with Nancy Peppler, the district’s Supervisor of Community and School Partnerships, to select Heights High as a distribution site for the program. 

A team of CH-UH staff and local volunteers stationed at the High School each week to pass out the boxes of fresh produce, placing them in the trunks of participants’ cars or handing them to those on foot.
