Students Inducted Into NTHS
May 22, 2019 -- Forty-six students in the five-school Heights Career Tech Consortium were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, NTHS. The students are in 22 programs that are hosted by four of the schools.
Career and Tech Ed students qualify for membership in the NTHS when they have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, unweighted and other factors that include: credit hours completed; attendance; one or more faculty and/or staff recommendations; active involvement in student government; and Career Tech Student Organization, civic or service organization membership(s).
The member schools of the Heights Career and Technical Consortium are: Bedford High School, Heights High School, Maple Heights High School, Shaker Heights High School, and Warrensville Heights High School.
The NTHS mission is: To honor students achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, and enhance career opportunities for the NTHS membership.
The Induction ceremony was held at Heights High School on April 18.
