June 20, 2019 -- Heights High graduate Victoria Williams-Ononye, class of 2008, has been named one of Poets & Quants' Best & Brightest MBAs for 2019.

 

Williams-Ononye graduated this year with her Master of Business Administration degree from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. She completed her undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis. Before enrolling in business school, Williams-Ononye founded OpsSolved LLC, an operations consulting firm.

 

According to the P&Q profile, Williams-Ononye's proudest business school accomplishment was leading the Race Inclusion Initiative team, where a team of 18 of her peers researched the role of race in four different facets of the MBA program: admissions, academics, student culture, and career.

 

"Our recommendations led to a school-wide conversation about how systemic racism had impacted our school and how we could change it," Williams-Ononye said.
