Nov. 18, 2019 -- RoxArts
is participating in the #GivingTuesdayCLE fundraiser benefiting various local non-profits this season. The campaign will run from November 19 to December 3.
Every year, nonprofits big and small throughout Cleveland join the global #GivingTuesday movement, a worldwide day of generosity fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. For the second year in a row, WISH Cleveland is inviting these groups to harness and celebrate the collective impact of generosity.
RoxArts is a not-for-profit organization of parents and community members who share a common goal: to bring enhanced arts and science education to every student K-8 in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District.
For more than 30 years, RoxArts has sponsored educational programs in the performing and visual arts, proven to increase student academic achievement and help develop well-rounded children. Likewise, arts education inspires good citizenship by connecting people from around the globe.
In January 2018, RoxArts partnered with the Heights Schools Foundation (HSF) to create RoxArts’ Tiger Nation FUND, a named fund supported by RoxArts and managed by the HSF, effectively making up to $2,000 available to every elementary school in the district per academic year earmarked for arts and science enrichment.
