Dec. 6, 2018 -- The Heights Tigress Dance Team joins the winter Cheer Team as they energize the boys basketball fans and team.
The dance team will perform for the first time this season during the halftime show at the December 11, 7:30 p.m. varsity game against Warren Harding.
The 10 member team will perform dances that include elements of ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, majorette and other styles of dance.
The team’s new choreographer and coach is Heights alumna Rachael Evans, ‘12, who is also the freshman cheerleading coach.
“I'm impressed with the dance team’s confidence and the camaraderie,” said Ms. Evans. “And I am proud of how optimistic the dancers are while learning new technique and genres of dance. I am so excited to see their personalities shine!”
On Sunday December 16, the Cheer and Dance team will host a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser with Santa at Applebees in University Heights, corner of Cedar and Warrensville Center Roads. 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. Tickets are $10. Call Coach Nellie to order tickets: 216-571-0000.
