July 30, 2024 -- Monticello families, students, staff, and community members are invited to get to know their new principal, Mr. Curtis Walker, on August 8 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. 

Walker most recently served as Principal of Lakeshore Intergenerational School in Cleveland. Prior to that, he was the Principal of The Academy of Math and Science - Flower in Arizona for four years. He began his career as an English Language Arts teacher at Breakthrough Schools in Cleveland.

Walker holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in communication from John Carroll University. Walker is also a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School and attended Roxboro Middle School.
