Heights Home Football Game Rules, Reminders

August 22, 2024

Dear CH-UH Families:

We are excited to kick off Heights football season at home tomorrow, August 23, when our Tigers will face off against Dayton’s Trotwood-Madison. Ahead of this game and the season to come, we want to share important rules and information to ensure the events are safe and enjoyable for all.

  • Heights High students must present their student ID at the gate in order to enter.
  • Middle school and elementary school students (and younger) can attend, but must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian who is at least 21 years old. The adult must remain with them at the game at all times.
  • Students of all ages are not permitted to congregate and run around underneath or behind the bleachers during games. Students are expected to remain in the stands, enjoy the game and support the team. Students visiting the concession stand should purchase their snacks and return to their seats.

School administrators and staff are present at the games, and the Student Code of Conduct is in effect. The high school has procedures for game entry to enhance safety for all attendees.

Tickets to tomorrow’s game can be purchased here.

Reminders
  • There will be no entry after halftime.
  • Spectators are not permitted to bring in bookbags, duffle bags, or backpacks of any kind.
  • Spectators are not permitted to bring in outside beverages.
  • Spectators are not allowed to access the football field before or after the game.
  • Parents are asked to pick their children up promptly at the conclusion of the game.

Please reinforce these expectations through conversations with your children prior to each game they attend. As long as everyone follows the rules, Heights games will continue to be wonderful events for the community. GO TIGERS!

Sincerely,
Superintendent Liz Kirby
