June 30, 2022 -- The CH-UH City School District is hiring Academic Success Tutors for the 2022-2023 school year. Academic Success Tutors will assist students in a variety of academic subjects. Tutors can work up to 5 hours per day. The hours are flexible and vary between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Job Summary:
Academic Success Tutors are responsible for supporting students by assisting them with academic success strategies. The tutor will work to support students to become more independent learners and reach their outlined academic goals. Tutors will provide individual and/or group tutoring to students across a broad range of subjects and courses based on their personal areas of expertise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of the specified academic subject or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training
- A commitment to public education, social justice, and equitable outcomes for all students
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
