Rox Mid Eighth Graders Attend SAY Youth Forum
Group photo of youth forum participantsMay 2, 2017 -- Roxboro Middle School eighth graders attended the annual Social Advocates for Youth (SAY) Forum at John Carroll University on April 13.

SAY is a school based prevention and early intervention program of Bellefaire JCB for students in middle and high school. At the forum, students participated in activities to further their knowledge on the importance of being an upstander and how to increase empathy. According to Principal Denise Lackey, these student leaders will carry the message of being a social advocate and share it with their family, school and community.

The Rox Mid students who attended are members of the Minority Student Achievement Network (MSAN) and the Student Assistance Leadership Team (SALT).
