Girls STEM Programs at Heights Libraries
Sept. 5, 2017 -- Heights Libraries are hosting hands-on workshops this fall for girls interested in engineering, science, math, technology and art.

Girl Engineers Club brings science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM), to girls ages 12 to 16. They will collaborate with college students majoring in STEAM related fields to learn about everything from robotics to coding. The workshops are at the Noble Neighborhood and Lee Road branches and begin September 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Beginning September 12, join Girl Engineers and HER Ideas in Motion for a special workshop series. Girls learn technical and creative skills from practitioners who work in the fields. Students learn the creative game-making process from theory to project completion to create their own web-based game.
