Sept. 13, 2018 -- Shaker Lakes Nature Center is hosting its annual Hike, Run and Explore event on Sunday, September 16.
Choose a 5K, 10K or hike to start the day. Registration opens at 7 a.m. and races and hikes kick off at 8:45 a.m. There is a hike for all abilities: 1-, 4-, 5-, and 12-mile options.
Following a morning of activity and outdoor exercise, there will be a free, family-friendly outdoor festival open to all, rain or shine. From 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., attendees can enjoy outdoor fun including food trucks, and free tree climbing, archery, crafts, games, and music.

Day-of hike and race registration is $30, but activities following are free and open to all.
