Sept. 25, 2018 -- The Great Lakes Science Center is set to kick off its Great Science Academy for grades six through nine.
The Academy allows scholars to engage in STEM with a full school year of exploring, making and problem-solving. Students will get hands-on with 3-D printing technology, laser-cutting and design, as well as larger-than-life robotics programming.
The Great Science Academy program includes 18 sessions on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuition is $575 per scholar for the year. This includes sessions, field trips, breakfast, lunch and an overnight experience at the Science Center. Scholarships are available. For more information on scholarships and registration, visit
