AP Success Camp Offered for High School Students, June 8
June 4, 2021 -- Heights High School is offering the Advanced Placement (AP) Success Camp to equip students with the necessary tools for succeeding at AP courses. The camp will support students in navigating online platforms, studying for exams, and taking class notes. The camp will be held virtually beginning June 8 - 10 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Students may choose the days and times that work best for their schedule, but they will need to register. Please review the camp calendar for class times, subjects, and meeting links.

Heights High has AP courses offered in the following subjects: biology, calculus, chemistry, computer science, economics, English language and composition, environmental science, psychology, Spanish language, studio art, and more.

Advanced Placement is a program of classes developed by the college board to give high school students an introduction to college-level classes while also gaining college credit before graduating high school. These courses are more challenging than the usual high school class and also require passing an AP exam at the end of the year for college credit.

Taking AP courses while in high school will improve students' college admissions potential, save money on tuition, provide a healthy challenge, and prepare students for college-level courses.
