Black Youth Entrepreneurship Expo, February 25

Feb. 22, 2021 -- Gear Up 2 New Heights and the Multicultural Student Achievement Network presents the 2021 Black Youth Entrepreneurship Expo which aims to promote and increase awareness on the importance of entrepreneurship. The Expo will focus on networking, advertising, marketing, starting a business, and the value of being a Black entrepreneur. Ten students will also be selected to showcase and promote their businesses in front of a panel of local entrepreneurs representative of all age groups.


This virtual event will be held on February 25th at 6:00 pm. Students can register to attend and share more about their business journey.  


This is a student-led initiative in partnership with Heights High sophomore, Taylor Evans, owner of She’s Lovely, a faith-based jewelry line. Taylor is fully invested in the success of this event as she knows firsthand the hard work and benefits of owning your own business. Check out her promotional video.


Criteria for registering to promote your business:
- Established business for at least one year
- Established business license
- Current high school student
