May 5, 2021 -- The CH-UH City School District is seeking public input on its
proposed revised calendar for the 2021-2022 school year. The proposed changes to the calendar are as follows:
- August 19 and 20 will be changed from Staff Professional Development Days to Teacher Independent Work Days. Students will not report to school on these dates.
- The first day of school for students will be changed from August 23 to August 24. August 23 will serve as Staff Convocation Day.
- February 18 will be a Teacher Independent Work Day. Students will not report to school on this date.
Per Ohio law and Board Policy/Administrative Guideline 8210, there must be a 30-day period for public comment before a calendar can be officially approved by the Board of Education. CH-UH families, staff and community members may submit comments or feedback via
this Google Form. Approval of the calendar proposals will be placed on the agenda at a Board of Education meeting in June.
