Nov. 11, 2021 -- Cleveland Heights High School’s Head Football Coach Mac Stephens and Heights senior Jumel Lewis received the highest honors as the rosters for Northeast Lakes All-District teams were released on November 8, 2021.
Coach Mac Stephens, who led the Heights Tigers to a 9-3 record and LEL championship was named the ‘Division I Coach of the Year.’ Jumel Lewis, a defensive back, was named the ‘Defensive Player of the Year.’
Student athletes Darreon Fair, Maurice Hamilton, Wilson Jackson, and Ashawn Sims were also selected for the All-District football teams. Honorable mentions were given to Raphael Adams, Justin Biggom, Owen Bisker, Elijah Fowlkes, and Jalen White.
The Northeast Lakes All-District football teams consider student athletes from multiple districts across Cuyahoga, Lorain, Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties.
