Meeting Overview
- Heights High School freshman Jayla Scruggs delivered the Superintendent’s Student Cadre Report, sharing updates on Heights High news and personal reflections on the school year.
- During each Regular Board of Education meeting, representatives from a CH-UH school share points of pride in the Monthly School Spotlight. For March, Fairfax Elementary School gave a wrapup of their recent Cabaret program, and Monticello Middle School presented on the school’s Robotics class and their IB service learning project.
- Director of Curriculum & Instruction Dr. Christy Bauer and Instructional Specialist Karen Heinsbergen presented recommendations to the Board for the adoption of new K-12 ELA/English curricular materials.
- Superintendent Kirby shared updates on the past month’s work within the five goals of the District’s Strategic Plan.
