Video: Digital Video Production, TV Club Produce "Why You Should Take AP Classes"
Nov. 29, 2022 -- Digital Video Production (CTE) and the TV Production Club are encouraging Cleveland Heights High School students to take the rewarding challenge of enrolling in at least one Advanced Placement class for the 2023-2024 school year in "Why You Should Take AP Classes."

The six-minute collaboration features interviews with AP scholars and teachers where they discuss the expectations and benefits that come with taking and Advanced Placement classes. As well as the variety of reasons the students had for why they decided to take an AP class. The students wrote, videotaped, and edited the video with support from Cynthia Booker, the television club advisor and Digital Video Production (CTE) teacher. Special thanks go to Claudine McCoy, Jessica Tayes, and Karl Neitzel for sitting down for interviews with the students and their support during filming.

9th, 10th and 11th graders will start to meet with their Guidance Counselors when Heights High returns from Winter Break on Monday, January 9th to discuss courses and academic options for the following school year. Students can use this time to ask their counselors for more information on AP classes that they may be interested in taking next year.
