June 24, 2022 -- Over the past year, the district has upgraded Chromebooks for students entering grades 5 through 12. The newest model is a Chromebook 3100 (see bottom of computer). If you have not yet exchanged your child’s old device, or if you are new to the district and need technology, it is important for you to take action this summer before the 22-23 school year. Many of our online curricular and testing programs rely on updated technology.
The IT Department is located inside the Delisle Options Center at 14780 Superior Road (Door #7). Parking is in the back of the building off of Washington Boulevard. The IT Department is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For students entering Grades 5 through 12
Check the bottom of the Chromebook, and it should be clearly marked as a Chromebook 3100 model. If it does NOT read Chromebook 3100, then you still need to receive an upgraded model. Simply bring the old Chromebook, adapter, and case to the IT Department to be exchanged.
For students entering Grades 3 and 4
Third and fourth grade students will receive new Chromebooks through their elementary schools in September.
For students entering Grades Pre-K through 2
Our youngest students use touchscreen Chromebooks that are stored in carts in the classrooms. (The exception is students enrolled in the Tiger Virtual Academy.)
