About
The CH-UH Early Childhood Program strives not only to provide a solid education foundation for each child, but also instill a love of learning and the confidence necessary to explore our ever-changing world.

Special Education Program
The Special Education Preschool Program is for children 3-5 years old who require special education programming, and for typically developing peers. Typically developing peers help to ensure strong and appropriate peer modeling for children with special needs. The Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District believes that all children benefit greatly from this philosophy. The classes provide a rich play and language-based curriculum that is developmentally appropriate for all children. Programming supports the growth of the whole child through attention to the development of social and emotional skills, physical development and intellectual growth.
The program operates Monday through Thursday from 8:50 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (AM session) and 12:50 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (PM session). Start and end times are subject to change. The program follows the CH-UH School District calendar.
If you have concerns about your child's development, please contact the Early Childhood Department at 216-371-7356 and ask for a Request for Assistance packet.
