Mar. 11, 2021 -- The City of Cleveland Heights and Heights United have teamed up this Spring to offer a socially distant soccer training opportunity for community youth every Saturday beginning April 17, 2021, at Denison Premier Turfed Soccer Field in Cleveland Heights.
All participants will receive professional soccer training from Cleveland Heights High School Hall of Fame Teacher and Coach, Sean Sullivan. Coach Sullivan and his staff (all Heights High graduates) will provide elite functional, foundational soccer instruction and developmentally appropriate speed, agility and core body training. Come be a part of a Heights tradition!
Due to complexities of Covid-19, multiple player games and scrimmages will not be available this season. In its place will be fun functional drills, individual games and opportunity to practice and refine skills. Every player will receive their own 10 ft by 10 ft personal training space within one of three stations. Players and families will rotate (in a socially distant manner) through each station. The stations will include foundational footskills, dribbling and shooting on goal. All sessions will end with our famous speed and agility training to music.
