Biometric Health Screening & Flu Shot Clinics

The Biometric Health Screenings and Flu Shot Clinics are now behind us.
The Wellness Committee would like to take a moment to thank all the CHUH
principals, administrative assistants, nurses & custodians who helped to
coordinate the individual clinic locations. Without the cooperation of each &
every one of you, these events would not have been possible. Thanks also go
out to the individuals who participated in the biometric screenings, Medical
Mutual, Quest Diagnostics and CVS.
For those who did the biometric screening, don't forget to go to: (Quest Diagnostics) and login. You'll be able to
view your A1C results and review/print a summary of the other screenings that
were performed. Finally, there's a section with tips on how to use your screening
results and suggestions for making positive changes to improve your overall

It's Summer Break !!!

Thank you to everyone who contributed in helping the CH-UH Wellness Committee over the 2018-2019 school year. None of our health and wellness events could occur without the planning and assistance that our volunteers and community partners bring each and every month when they attend meetings, volunteer to help at events, coordinate wellness challenges at their district building, or simply offer suggestions for what they'd like to see happen within the CH-UH District regarding staff health and wellness opportunities.
It's hard to believe, but the 2019-2020 school year is right around the corner! These days are flying by. I'm definitely looking forward to gathering new ideas, creating a new set of building challenges and offering support to all the CH-UH staff members as you think about making healthy changes in your lives.
If you've not participated with the CH-UH Wellness Committee in the past, but are curious about finding out what the Wellness Committee is all about, don't by shy. Feel free to visit me at the BOE or send an email to Karen LaBoda.
In the meantime, have a Safe and Healthy Summer!
