The Registration building will be closed until at least April 3 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The registration process has been modified slightly due to the closure.
The Registration Process
Registering your children in CH-UH has never been easier. Families can access our online registration portal
in the comfort of their own home. This online system will ensure that the District has accurate, up-to-date information on your children.Step 1 -
Complete the Online Registration forms
at your convenience. Please note: The Online Registration Portal is only accessible via a laptop or desktop computer. The portal is currently unavailable on mobile devices and tablets. Or, you may complete the forms in the Registration Packet for 2020-2021
and email to [email protected]
Step 2 - In lieu of an appointment, families may scan or take pictures of the documents listed in the Registration Requirements Checklist and email them to [email protected] Families will be notified by Registration staff of status of registration and any missing items.

Who may register a child?
Only legal residents who are the parent or legal guardian of the child may complete the registration process. All certified court orders pertaining to guardianship and custody must be presented at the time of registration. Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District does not grant temporary enrollment (OCR 3313.64 E)Residency Requirements
The Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District is tuition-free only for those students whose parents/legal guardians are residents of the school district. Residence for school purposes means that the parents/legal guardians of the student live within the school district seven days a week.Which school will my child attend?

. You can confirm this information at your registration appointment or by calling the Registration Department at (216) 371-7430.
- A child must be 5 years old by September 30 of the year they will attend school.Early Entrance
- An Early Entrance evaluation is available for children with birth dates between October 1 and December 31 of the year they will attend school, and who also demonstrate superior functioning in the areas of achievement or ability.
