May 2, 2023 -- The Cleveland Heights High School Instrumental Music Department (IMD) will conclude their performances for the 2022-2023 school year with its annual Jazz Night on Friday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school's auditorium. There will be no cost for admission to the concert. Instead, the Band and Orchestra Parent Organization (BOPO) will be accepting donations that will directly go towards supporting instrumental music at Heights High School.

The concert will feature sets from both Heights High Jazz Ensembles and performances by the six student-lead Jazz Combos.

In tradition to previous years, the evening will conclude with a mass finale jam session featuring community members and the Jazz Ensembles. For Jazz Night 2023, community members and IMD alumni are invited to join the students in perform Pick up the Pieces by the Phil Collins Jazz Band. Solos will be open for anyone who would want one.
