May 3, 2018 -- The Exceptional Children's Advocacy Group is hosting a spring family workshop on May 14 to help parents understand IEPs, 504 plans and more.

 

The meeting will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Coventry Building, 2843 Washington. A panel of parents who have IEP/504 experience will unpack terminology, share tips and tricks and foster discussion. Students who are recipients of services will share their stories of how to be strong self-advocates and partipate in their own IEP/504 meetings.

 

Children are invited, and there will be student led, age appropriate activities.
