PHOTOS: Rox El Celebrates 'Three-Peat' Fundraising Record

May 12, 2017 -- For the third year in a row, Roxboro Elementary School raised the most money in the region for the Jump Rope for Heart Campaign, celebrating once again with a loud and proud all-school assembly on May 5.

Rox El placed first out of 174 schools in the eastern territory - Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Lake, and Medina counties - and number 10 out of more than 2,000 participating schools in the state. The total raised for the American Heart Association by Rox El this year was $16,475.64.

The assembly began with the singing of the national anthem by fifth grader Bimah Mitchell.
