June 16, 2017 -- Three Roxboro Middle School students collected toys and books for the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant patients.
In addition to the items, Erica Harrison, Marin Alcorn, and Laila Garland also presented the department with a monetary donation.
“It’s great to see young students doing great work that will directly benefit those that need it most, right in our own community," said Nurse Manager Kristen Powaski in a letter to the school. "Thank you for helping us bring a little more joy to our patients during their stay at Cleveland Clinic Children’s!”
