Mar. 19, 2018 -- Biology students everywhere learn that DNA is the code of life. But what does it look like? Students in Marquiza Russell’s Biology class extracted strands of DNA from a strawberry and saw the spider web like filaments that hold the code of life for delicious strawberries. The lab included several steps that required students to be focused and organized as they measured, poured and strained liquid and gel and used a pipette.

Mar. 16, 2018 -- The Heights High class of 2018 will hold a Senior Pancake Breakfast, Sunday, March 25, 8 - 10 a.m. at Applebees. The benefit event will help support the senior prom, senior picnic and other senior class activities.

Mar. 15, 2018 -- Calvin Terrell is a nationally known inspirational speaker who spoke to Heights High students, parents and staff on March 1 & 2. His presentations were tailored for each group but there were topics that were included in all presentations.

March 14, 2018 -- Heights High School students in Dr. Donna Feldman’s Creative Writing class published an anthology of their best fictional work in the 2017-2018 edition of The Phoenix.

Mar. 14, 2018 -- Two Heights student cellists will perform with internationally acclaimed cellist and Heights High alumna, Alisa Weilerstein, at the Cleveland Cello Society's i Cellisti Concert on Friday, March 16.
