June 7, 2016 -- Four members of the Heights High Track team competed in the June 3-4 Ohio High School Athletic Association state track and field meet at the Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.
The 4x100 meter relay placed third with a time of :42.33.
The relay members are LeAndrew Woody (12), Jakeith James (10), Shakorie Davis (11) and Ramon Davis-Smith (11).
Shakorie Davis placed 8th in the 200 meter with a time of :22.05.
Jakeith James qualified for the state meet in the 100 meter event and ran a time of :11.05 in the preliminary event but did not advance to the finals.
