Sept. 27, 2016 -- The CH-UH full day pre-kindergarten program is now available at Oxford Elementary School, joining Gearity and Noble.
In the program, teachers utilize the Project Approach to infuse the Early Learning and Development standards into meaningful learning experiences. This curriculum is developmentally appropriate and involves children in studies of things nearby that interest them. Class size is limited to 16 children. Classes meet Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
The CH-UH Early Childhood Program is a public preschool program licensed by the Ohio Department of Education. The program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and will be rated by the state’s Step Up to Quality process in fall 2016. Enrollment requirements for the program vary depending on the classroom.
Children must be 4 by September 30, 2016
· Children must be toilet trained.
· Families must be residents of Cleveland Heights or University Heights
· Families must provide transportation
