Channel 5 Visits Rox Mid for Teen Health Story
Feb. 9, 2016 -- A new study shows that middle school-age students get most of their daily physical activity at school, but many pediatricians say that's not enough exercise. For a February 4 story, Channel 5 reporter Lauren Wilson talked to Roxboro Middle School physical education teacher Brian Mahoney to get his take.
"As a Phys. Ed. teacher, we're here to push them to the next level ... so it's just a matter of exposing them to certain exercises, exposing them to certain activities ... so they can get that information and go with it where they please," said Mahoney.
